LAKEWOOD, Colo. (KRDO)--The Classical Academy Flag Football team are champions once again defeating Vista Ridge 34-18.
TCA has reached the state championship the first three years since it became a CHSAA-sanctioned sport and for those three years, they have have dominated, now winners of the last two championships.
Junior Reagan Harter was named MVP after a four touchdown game. Meanwhile, senior quarterback Kelsey Peterson finished off her historical career on a high note.
"After our first game ever, we were shocked that we even won that first game that we ever played," Peterson reflected. "So getting here three years in a row and winning the back to back and finishing with an undefeated season. It's crazy. It doesn't feel real but I'm so grateful."
